The fine-mesh approach leaves virtually no scars and makes the technique particularly suitable for facial treatments. This makes HST much more widely applicable than conventional hair transplant methods such as FUT and FUE. It is the only transplant technique frequently used for eyebrow reconstruction.
INVISIBLE TREATMENT
HST treatment does not always require shaving all the hair. Sometimes it is possible to shave only a strip of hair on the back of the head. The shaved area is then covered by the longer hair around it.
This ‘invisible treatment’ is only possible if there is enough space to transplant between the hairs so that surrounding hairs are not damaged. The direction of the hairs also plays a role. The day of treatment
An HST treatment can usually be performed in one day and usually takes 8-10 hours. Before and after the procedure, we will give you instructions that optimise the safety and final result of the treatment. The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic and is considered painless by most people.
